We the People First Friday at the Ware Center

March’s First Friday performance, Thunda N’ Mimosas: This One’s for the Girls, is a poetry showcase and open mic presented by the inimitable Thunda Khatt, beginning at 6:30 p.m. in Steinman Hall. “We’re ringing in the show’s fourth year by bringing you another round of brilliant women Spoken Word Poets to wow you with the power of their voices,” said Thunda Khatt. “If you’re a lover of words and feminine fire, then Lancaster’s only running showcase of Poetry is where you need to be.”

In the Regitz Gallery, a reception from 6 to 8 p.m. will celebrate the opening of the exhibit Connections and Pathways by artists and Millersville University alumni Kerry Sacco and Ann Thomas. The collection interprets the complexity of nature and celebrates forty years of friendship. The exhibit will be on display from March 1 through 29.
