Shawan Rice & The Quiet Riders

Soulful, rootsy, unique: these innovative artists and Central PA natives deliver inventive tunes that will have you grooving in your seat. Originally from the midstate, Shawan Rice toured the U.S. before relocating to New Orleans, where her captivating voice has made her a staple in the city’s vibrant music scene. Lancaster-based band The Quiet Riders share a deep love for American music, earning them a Central PA Music Award for “Best Funk Band” in 2024.

Presented by the Curtis Institute of Music, soprano Sarah Fleiss has been described as “bright” and “stylish” by Opera News. She joins the exclusive international Baroque touring ensemble Le Jardin des Voix of Les Arts Florissants for the 2025-26 and 2026-27 seasons and will also tour Latin America with Curtis on Tour this year. Performing in many noteworthy opera roles and as a soloist with several orchestras, she is the 2025 winner of the Arthur W. Foote Award from the Harvard Musical Association.

Dr. Eric Fung has performed in festivals and concerts worldwide, praised by The New York Times as “refined and elegant”. The Steinway Artist earned a doctorate from Juilliard and is the Carmean Endowed Professor of Music in Piano Performance at Lebanon Valley College. From the Lancaster Symphony Orchestra, he will be joined by principal musicians Dana Allaband on violin, Ken Bell on French Horn and Luis Engelke on trumpet.

Revolution immerses audiences in legendary songs like Ticket to Ride, Penny Lane, All You Need Is Love, Get Back, Here Comes the Sun, and Hey Jude (and many more)—accompanied by stunning video, animation, and hundreds of rare and unseen photos from the archives of the band’s official fan magazine, The Beatles Book Monthly.
