Something wickedly fun this way comes! Lancaster City has a host of Halloween-themed events this October. Making it the perfect playground for ghosts, witches, and revelers of all ages. Whether you crave jump scares, pumpkin spice, or a good old-fashioned trick-or-treat, you’ll find a spellbinding lineup of Halloween happenings across the city.  

Ghost Tours of Lancaster

Get in the spirit of the season with spine-tingling tales of haunted mansions, eerie cemeteries and spirits that roam the night! Peer into the shadows and discover the ghosts that roam among us on a candlelight walking tour of downtown Lancaster. Tours depart from the Soldiers and Sailors Monument in Penn Square (25 S. Queen St. Lancaster, PA 17603). Reservations are required.

Bonus treat: Every hands-on activity is also a candy stop, so your little monsters can trick-or-treat their way through the museum in a safe, fun-filled setting. 

Wicked Singalong

Halloween is on a FRIDAY this year, which means our Halloween party will be going until 2am instead of our usual midnight! Same as last year there will be games, candy, movies, cartoons, music AND a costume contest. All table fees will be waived for the party as usual, and all space will be first come first serve. We won’t be able to accommodate any reservations for the party! Non-costumers will be looked upon with a disappointed expression. 

Trick-or-Treat in Lancaster City

Trick-or-Treat! Friday, October 31 from 6 – 8 pm is the designated time for families to trick-or-treat in Lancaster City. Safety is key! Make sure to look out for pedestrians in all types of costumes, use extra caution on the road, slow down, and look out for your neighbors.
