We have over 1,500 books for sale, across hundreds of series – the majority of our collection being Comics, Manga, and Graphic Novels, (but we do also carry some of our favorite prose novels).

Marshall St Bookstore

225 N. Marshall Street

Used-book store. The Book ReSort is open most Mondays and Wednesdays from 10AM-12PM. On those days, volunteers will be on hand to accept your donations of gently used books, DVDs, CDs, & vinyl records.

A new year is the perfect time to hone a new skill or try a new activity. You never know what your new favorite hobby could be! There is no shortage of classes and workshops to try in Lancaster City to experience something new.

Gallery Grow

320 N Queen St

Gallery Grow Plant Bar is a creative haven where you can build your own terrarium. At Gallery Grow, you can create your own living project any time they’re open. Their walk-in terrarium projects include everything you need—soil, plants, and a variety of fun embellishments. Just stop in anytime during store hours (up to 45 minutes before close), and their friendly staff will get you set up at a workstation and guide you through building your project and caring for your new plants.

Gallery Grow also hosts a variety of workshops and events, such as upcycled planter and kokedama workshops, where you can learn a new skill and leave with a brand new terrarium!

Lancaster Art Vault

Whether you’re looking to take in artwork made by local creatives or try your hand at a workshop, Lancaster Art Vault has something for you.

Lancaster Art Vault is more than just a gallery; it’s an interactive art experience. Visit our studios to see artists at work, creating their masterpieces. Engage with the artists, learn about their creative processes, and discover the stories behind their works. Our “WithDRAWal Room” offers a unique co-working space where you can witness artists collaborating and sharing ideas.

Lancaster Creative Factory

At Lancaster Creative Factory, we cultivate creativity to encourage problem-solving, connection, and transformation for a happy, healthy community. We offer a variety of programs for artists of all skill levels. From workshops and classes to open studio, and wood kiln firings, we have something for everyone.

Lancaster Rec

425 Fairview Ave

The Lancaster Recreation Commission (Lancaster Rec) is a 501(c)3 non-profit agency formed by a partnership agreement between the City of Lancaster, School District of Lancaster and Lancaster Township.

Programs include youth and adult instructional sports programs and leagues, a senior center, and fitness and wellness classes.
