In partnership with the Lancaster AAPI, The Arts at MU proudly presents “The Ninth Art: Inside the World of Asian Cuisine Through Sight, Smell, and Taste,” a curated, live food demonstration showcasing Asian cuisine from around the world. A live violinist will play between each demonstration. The performance begins at 6:30 p.m. in Steinman Hall, with a reception to follow.

In the Regitz Gallery, a reception from 6 to 8 p.m. will celebrate the opening of the exhibit Pilgrim Soul by Claire Louise Giblin. The exhibition will contain several new works in a numbered series titled “The Black Series.” The exhibit’s title, Pilgrim Soul, is a nod to the poem “When You Are Old” by W. B. Yeats, a thoughtful tribute to age and love. The exhibit will be on display from May 3 through May 31.
