Meet the incredible youth of Comerío, Puerto Rico, as they navigate the aftermath of Hurricane Maria in this groundbreaking documentary film. Follow 24-year-old Mariangelie Ortiz as she leads a group of young residents to Washington D.C. to protest in the halls of Congress. Don’t miss this powerful coming-of-age story of youth activists working to create a sustainable future for themselves and their community.

Join us for a pre-show community panel at 6:15 p.m., a free screening of the documentary at 7 p.m., and a post-show Q&A with the director, producer, and the film’s featured youth activist from Puerto Rico!
