The Swingin’ Jazz Nutcracker Suite

The holiday is about to get a bit jazzier with this unique adaptation of traditional music from Tchaikovsky’s “The Nutcracker Suite.”

Performed by the Emmy-nominated Scranton Jazz Festival Big Band! With big band arrangements of songs like “Dance of the Sugar Plum Fairy,” imagined by jazz legends Shorty Rogers and Duke Ellington, a 17-piece jazz orchestra adds some spice to these sweet seasonal favorites.

Performed under the direction of Maestro Marko Marcinko, The Swingin’ Jazz Nutcracker Suite features narration by WGAL’s T.J. Springer and vocals by Amy Banks.
