“Refractions & Reflections”: Senior PCA&D Photography & Video students

Senior Pennsylvania College of Art & Design Photography & Video students enrolled in the Emerging Lens-Based Technology class present “Refractions & Reflections”, a projection on the first-floor windows at the corner of Prince and Chestnut streets. The show runs through Sunday, with an opening at 6 pm Friday, Dec. 1, for First Friday.

Refractions & Reflections explores the relationship between public art and advanced moving image post-production techniques. For their pieces, the seniors created moving image pieces that have moments of abstraction and discovery. Each student utilized various methods and techniques in AfterEffects and Premiere Pro covered in the course to bring their ideas to life.
