Ready, Set, Explore Slide into Summer presented by Pennon Education and WITF

Ready, Set, Explore Slide into Summer ignites summer learning and encourages collaborative problem solving through hands-on STEAM and environmental sustainability activities. Plus, each activity station connects to a book to inspire summer reading!
Families and children can:
- Create a pinwheel to investigate how wind creates energy
- Code very hungry Ozobots “ants” to eat a picnic
- Build a bee hotel to support our local pollinators
- Design a rollercoaster to explore force and motion
- Plant a seed to watch it grow all summer long
Children who attend will receive:
- A FREE copy of The Boy Who Harnessed the Wind (picture book or young reader’s edition)
- An opportunity to meet and take photos with Molly from Molly of Denali!
The first 50 families to check in will receive a free STEM in a Box education kit packed with fun ways to keep the learning going all summer long! Kits are supported by the Anne M. & Philip H. Glatfelter III Family Foundation.
