February 13 at 7:00 pm – 8:30 pm
Most of us have seen the disturbing YouTube videos from under the Frankford Metro line. Drug use and trafficking are evident all along Kensington Avenue in Philadelphia.
See and hear how paying urban kids to cultivate gardens and create murals is making a difference in a tough neighborhood.
Jeremy Chen is a Lancaster native and graduate of Veritas Academy, Princeton University, and Missio Seminary. He will introduce us to some of the young staff and teenagers involved with shaping Kensignton’s future…and their own lives.
Jeremy and his wife Amy moved into Kensington twelve years ago. She is a dentist at Esparanza Health Center, and Jeremy is Founder and Director of Klean Kensington.
