Michael Christian Shaw: Reminiscence

“Reminiscence” is a show sharing some of my favorite memories of the two dearest and
most significant places in my life: Wellfleet, Cape Cod and Lancaster County,
Pennsylvania. Though quite dissimilar in appearance, these land and seascapes are
bound by their shared distinction of being “old souls”, maintaining much of the rustic
beauty and slower pace of life we fondly remember from days gone by. My hope is that
these oil paintings will communicate a semblance of joy and peace as you view them.
