Fade Out MDD

Major depressive disorder (MDD) is a severe form of depression, and Black and Hispanic individuals face major obstacles and disparities in MDD identification and diagnosis. Fade Out MDD aims to overcome these obstacles and disparities by bringing mental health screening to barbershops — a trusted space for the Black and Hispanic communities.
Everyone is invited to get their haircut, and Penn Medicine will be providing free mental health tests on-site. Everyone that gets tested will receive a $25 gift card.
