THERAPEUTIC YOGA WALL, 2:00- 3:00 P
Swamini utilizes the iyengar Yoga Wall to assist with facilitating detailed alignment, spinal decompression, increased circulation, and promote an awareness of the body through specific support. This therapeutic class will sooth practitioners, allow for a deeper understanding of one’s alignment, nourish the spine, and assist with overall wellbeing.
Meditative Mantra, 3:15- 4:30 p
Jyoti Ma Devi and Swamini Shraddhananda Saraswati come together for a journey into the power, pronunciation, and practice of mantra.
YOGA NIDRA, 5:00- 6:00 P
Swamini guides practitioners through guided meditation and imagery for a deeply profound and impactful release & rest. An awareness of the presence accompanies a conscious “yoga sleep” through this specific practice. Research has shown that yoga nidra may reduce symptoms of anxiety, reduce pain, and may offer psychological benefits to practitioners.
This class is suitable for all. Practitioners will lay in savasana (corpse pose) and are encouraged to wear layers for comfort. Props are available to use including blankets, blocks, bolsters, and more. Practitioners are also welcome to bring props from their home.
