From its roots as an open air produce stand under the “shady maple” trees in East Earl PA, Shady Maple Farm Market has grown into a staple of Lancaster County culture. Founders Marvin and Miriam Weaver built their store around quality products and friendly hometown customer service which remains as a keystone of the business today.

The Shady Maple Bakery stand may be new to Central Market, but it is certainly not new to Lancaster County. The Shady Maple bakery was started in the late 70’s and has since increased into a fully fledged production facility with up to 70 employees in order to keep up with customer demand. The Shady Maple bakery currently offers over 200 products from scratch with new recipes being tested weekly. When the opportunity arose for Shady Maple to become a part of Lancaster Central Market they jumped at the chance to share their quality baked goods with the Central Market crowd. In the short time that Shady Maple has been present at Central Market it has developed quite a following of regular customers.
