Below is a list of COVID-19 updates on many of Lancaster City’s popular attractions and venues. Many of these attractions have implemented increased sanitation protocols to ensure they are providing visitors with the safest experience possible. You can read more about each attraction’s health and safety guidelines on their websites. Furthermore, be sure to check their social media for important announcements and hours of operations.

BEAU’S DREAM DOG PARK AT BUCHANAN PARK – Open

CENTRAL MARKET – Open
Visitors are required to wear masks and socially distance. Shoppers must enter through the entrance off of William Henry Place and leave through one of the three Grant St. exits.

DEMUTH MUSEUM – Open
Face masks are required for all visitors and social distancing should be maintained. You must reserve your ticket online before arrival. Tuesdays are set aside for senior and at risk populations.

FRIENDSHIP HEART GALLERY – Normal Operations Suspended
Artwork is available for purchase online.

FULTON THEATRE – Normal Operations Suspended
The current performance season is postponed until late spring 2021.

GHOST TOUR LANCASTER – Open
Limited walking tours are being offered. Walking tours are operating at smaller capacities and participants are urged to wear masks.

HISTORIC LANCASTER WALKING TOUR – Normal Operations Suspended
Walking tours will resume as soon as possible.

HISTORIC ROCK FORD – Open
Tickets must be reserved online prior to arrival. Tours are at a limited capacity, we recommend checking their website and social media for updates.

LANCASTER BARNSTORMERS – Normal Operations Suspended
They are offering a summer movie series. Capacity is capped at 250 per CDC guidelines. You must wear a mask and practice social distancing. You can purchase a ticket online to reserve your spot.

LANCASTER HISTORY & WHEATLAND – Normal Operations Suspended
Indoor facilities are closed but the grounds at President James Buchanan’s Wheatland and the Tanger Arboretum are open. Additionally, audio tours are available online.

LANCASTER MUSEUM OF ART – Normal Operations Suspended
Closed until August 8th, 2020.

LANCASTER SCIENCE FACTORY  Open
Masks are required and visitors must maintain a distance of 10 feet between groups.

NORTH MUSEUM – Open
Visitors must wear masks and socially distance. Temperatures will be checked at check-in and visitors will be asked to complete a brief symptoms questionnaire. You must reserve your tickets online ahead of time.

PENNSYLVANIA COLLEGE OF ART & DESIGN – Normal Operations Suspended
PCA&D is currently offering online classes for all ages and skill levels. You may purchase an art kit and register for a class online.

PRIMA THEATRE – Normal Operations Suspended 
While Prima’s in-house shows are on hold, there are plenty of offerings to take advantage of like their newly launched streaming service and outdoor productions.
