The awards ceremony will be held at the Lancaster County Convention Center on Thursday, October 26 at 7 pm. Awardees are being reviewed now and will be announced at the end of the summer. It is an honor to host the statewide awards ceremony, which will include performances from Pennsylvania artists. Following the ceremony there will be a dessert and coffee reception. This event is open to the public and free of charge. Read more about the awards at www.arts.pa.gov.

The City of Lancaster has an opportunity to create a full week of events leading up to the awards ceremony showcasing our local talent in a variety of ways! We will dedicate a day of the week to each genre. A community engagement committee was formed to organize the events leading up to the awards ceremony.

Co-chairs of the event are Bob Shoemaker, Project Executive with the Lancaster City Alliance, and Annie Weeks, Director of the City of Lancaster Office of Promotion.

The tentative schedule is below. We will kick off the celebration with a day dedicated to music on Saturday, October 21. A parade celebrating the arts will take place on Sunday, October 22.

*Galleries, museums, and other arts-related businesses are asked to say open until 6:30 pm in the lead up to the awards ceremony on Thursday, October 26.

WILL FINSIHED PANELS BE FOR SALE?
Yes, you pick your price. 30% of artwork sales will go to Lancaster Public Art, 70% to the artist. There will be a contract for you to sign when you drop off your panel at Levengoods of Lancaster Sept, 27th and 28th.

Entry: $30 (Includes panel and entry to the exhibition in October, where your panel will be hung with over 100 other artists panels at Levengoods of Lancaster, 104 W King Street.)

$20 with current/valid student ID

Kids Under 10 are $10 with a parent’s regular price entry!

– No theme
– One panel per artist
– All panels will be for sale
– All completed panels must be dropped off on September 27th and 28th atLevengoods of Lancaster between 12-9pm to be hung in the show. (No earlier, and no later!)
