ART: L’TECE – Café Existential
Opening Reception-Artist meet and greet
Renea Wike-Rivera now goes by L’TECE. L’TECE paintings are influenced by philosophical ideologies, wild patterns, optical illusions, and the wonders of the human mind. You may see references to familiar religious figures, esoteric symbolism, and tarot cards, all which L’TECE studies on her own.
L’TECE was inspired to create The Existentialist Café by the vintage book Authored by Sarah Bakewell, “At the Existentialist Café, Freedom, Being & Apricot Cocktails.” The story tells of existentialism as one of deep and meaningful encounters between people, minds, and ideas. L’TECE does not want people to perceive existentialism as a dark concept, but rather as a freeing one.
Renea has been an employee of Millersville University for 6 years in the Accounting Department. She also attends MU as an undergraduate majoring in Economics.
