We The People First Friday – Art Heals: The Jingle Dress Project

The Arts at Millersville University honors National Native American Heritage month beginning Friday, November 4. We The People First Friday invites you to experience Art Heals: The Jingle Dress Project. This stunning event includes a performance that demonstrates the healing power of the Ojibwe jingle dress through music and dance. Accompanying the performance is an exhibit of works by the project’s curator and photographer Eugene Tapahe. The performance will take place in the Steinman Hall at the Ware Center at 6:30 P.M. An opening reception for the exhibit will take place in the Lyet Lobby from 6 -8 P.M. and will be on display through November 28.

First Friday at the Ware Center is FREE and open to the public.
