During Black History Month, beginning Friday, February 1, 2019, the Visitors Center of the City of
Lancaster will host the exhibit, The Road to Freedom Takes Many Paths – African American Heritage in Lancaster County. The exhibit on the second floor of the Visitor Center, 38 Penn Square, is free and open to the public, between 9 AM and 4 PM for the remainder of the month on Tuesdays, Fridays and Saturdays. The exhibit is a project of the African American Historical Society of South Central Pennsylvania and LancasterHistory.org, in collaboration with the City of Lancaster Office of Promotions.
