Come young and old and join us on Friday November 15 as we welcome The Puppet and Story Works to the Community Room on King. The Puppet & Story Works (TPSW) was founded by Dotti and Steve Seitz in 2007 after Steve retired from his Federal government position. Together Steve and Dotti have been writing and performing shows that promote Christian values, positive behavior, and a healthy lifestyle throughout the Mid-Atlantic region. These interactive shows feature ventriloquism, puppetry, storytelling, and song for audiences of all ages. Dotti, a member of the Cheyenne and Arapaho Tribes of Oklahoma, and her cast of puppets have been entertaining audiences since 2003. She started in puppetry at the ripe old age of 60 (an unrepentant late-bloomer) after working for years in the fields of American Indian education, national American Indian Affairs and Alcohol and Substance Abuse Problem Prevention at the federal level. Steve, a native of Hummelstown, PA, is a “recovering” Pennsylvania Dutchman (shoo-fly pie clan ), storyteller, and puppeteer. He comes from a career that spans the mental health and substance abuse fields as well as Christian ministry. Check out their website, www.puppetandstoryworks.com, for pictures and more information about these very entertaining Puppet & Story Works shows. Join us for a night of fun, puppets, story telling and more. The night is free so invite your friends, family, neighbors, etc.. to join us for this great evening.
