“Re Union”: work by Rachel Yinger
September 6 @ 5:00 pm – 8:00 pm
PCA&D is proud to present the work of Rachel Yinger ’14 in her Hayden Gallery exhibition, “Re Union”.
“Re Union” is a collection of “select works from the past ten years, and I graduated from PCA&D ten years ago.” Yinger says, “I also have a theme of titling works with a compound word separated into two words, hence the separation of reunion.”
Yinger is a visual artist and curator. She received a BFA in Fine Art from Pennsylvania College of Art & Design in 2014 and an MFA in Socially Engaged Studio Art from Moore College of Art & Design in 2019. While attending Moore, she curated an exhibition that encouraged the school to adopt a more inclusive admissions policy. She works in painting, drawing, printmaking, zine-making, and installation. She primarily creates large paintings and zines, exploring themes of gender and sexuality. Find Rachel on campus where she is the Program Coordinator, Pre-College & Adult Enrichment in the Center for Creative Exploration.
