CORE Gallery at Pennsylvania College of Art & Design (PCA&D) is pleased to present Sugar & Spice, a curated exhibition of emerging women artists in honor of Women’s History Month. Due to health and safety precautions, the Galleries at PCA&D are closed to outside visitors at this time. Sugar & Spice is viewable online at pcad.edu/core_gallery and on Instagram at @pcad_core_gallery starting March 5 for Lancaster’s First Friday.
“Sugar and Spice is about the importance of multifacetedness of women,” states Jaymi Vilardo, Chair of CORE Gallery’s Curatorial Board. “Gentle and Caring. Feisty and Bold. Strong and Courageous. Beautiful and Brave. We are so much more than a silly little nursery rhyme, and that is something to be celebrated.”

A fully illustrated exhibition book with artworks and statements, and can be viewed at the exhibition website.
About CORE Gallery
CORE Gallery was founded by the Student Council in 2020 as the student-managed Gallery at the Pennsylvania College of Art & Design, created to provide the students of PCA&D opportunities to exhibit and present their creative work while building exhibition history and management experience.
Pennsylvania College of Art & Design was founded in 1982. PCA&D is a private, non-profit,
professional art college offering BFA degrees, certificates, credentials, and curricula that enable
students of all ages to pursue art as their life’s work. The Galleries at Pennsylvania College of Art & Design is located on Lancaster’s Gallery Row at 204 North Prince Street.
