Millersville University’s International Womxn’s Day Celebration 2023

Millersville University’s President’s Commission on the Status of Women is hosting our “International Womxn’s Day” celebration at the Ware Center on Wednesday, March 8, 2023. From 5-7pm we encourage our participants to shop the womxn owned businesses, community groups, and a food truck. From 7-8pm we will be featuring our Theordora Talks including 4 speakers, and 3 musical interludes. Free food truck meals for the first 150 attendees. Our Theodora Talks speakers includes Dr. Amaka Nnamani (author, pediatrician, and breastfeeding advocate), Keisha Finne (artist), Sami Subedi, and Apsara Uprety (student leaders and refugee advocates). ASL Interpreters will be provided. Free childcare provided by our Early Childhood Organization (MU students with their clearances). This event is free and open to the public.
