“Scythian’s enthusiasm is contagious, and shows seem to end with everyone dancing, jumping around or hoisting glasses.” —Washington Post This is a quote from the early day of Washington DC-based Scythian and 2,000 shows later, nothing has changed. Named after Ukrainian nomads, Scythian (sith-ee-yin) plays roots music from Celtic, Eastern European and Appalachian traditions with thunderous energy, technical prowess, and storytelling songwriting, beckoning crowds into a barn-dance, rock concert experience. On Saturday, May 4th, the Irish Festival Circuit headliners will provide a special night of entertainment at Tellus360. The show is 21+ only. Doors open at 7pm and the show starts at 8pm.
