First Friday Art Alley

Join the Center for Creative (CCE) at Pennsylvania College of Art & Design, the Demuth Foundation, and Creative Works Lancaster this August First Friday in Art Alley to make amazing creations inspired by local artists!

Friends from CCE at PCA&D and the Demuth Foundation are bringing inspiration to you from the Demuth Foundation permanent collection. Tap into your creative side and create artworks inspired by artists Carol Ansapch and Jerome Hershey. You can also create your own piece of art which will hang on the second floor of the Lancaster City Welcome Center inspired by the annual community exhibition! Friends from Creative Works Lancaster are bringing sock puppet energy! Join them in making your own sock puppet artist! Who will you choose? Demuth? Kahlo? Wiley? Kusama? Endless fun and endless possibilities! Find all of this and lots of artist vendors from 5 – 8 pm this First Friday in Art Alley, next to Lancaster Central Market!
