Family Fun Fest – “Leonardo: A Wonderful Show About A Terrible Monster”

Millersville University’s Family Fun Fest presents the acclaimed Manual Cinema performance collaborative as it brings two of Mo Willems’ classic storybooks to life. With hundreds of paper and furry puppets, live actors, innovative sound and music, two-dimensional props, cinematic techniques, and live-feed cameras, this delightful and transformative experience unfolds the story of a monster who tries so hard to be scary, but just…isn’t. One hour before its start, our lobby is full of free creative hands-on activities for kids created by campus and community partners – and a few surprises.
