Join us for our first Third Friday Coffeehouse and Open Mic Night of 2020 on Friday January 17 from 7-9 PM featuring an evening of Bus Stop Music with Jeff Howe. 2019 Lancaster Story Slam finalist Jeff Howe has been a player, collector and historian of the harmonica for 47 years. He has been a story teller for even longer. Using new-fangled looping electronics, a variety of harmonicas and old fashioned storytelling, Howe weaves through an evening of dog revolts, big fat bullfrogs, trains of thought, blues for no reason, the Phantom 309, bus stop music, hitch-hiking across the country, looking for dead bodies and the beauty of wandering minds. Jeff will perform two sets, and there will be an open mic portion of the night between his sets, so bring your guitar, your poetry, etc.. There will be drink and snacks as well. While the night is free there will be a donation and all proceeds will go to the featured musician. Invite your friends to this night of live local music.
