The Litter Letter Project is a collaborative effort of local citizens, businesses and organizations seeking to raise awareness about the impact of litter on our environment and in our community. Using life-size letters that are constructed out of chicken wire and rebar, area groups collected trash from local streets and parks, filling each letter as a visual symbol of how our actions impact our neighborhoods. Lancaster’s Litter Letter Project, RETHINK, was installed on the front lawn of J.P. McCaskey High School.
