2nd Annual King Street Seisiún February 26, 2015 By Alexandria Chiavetta On Sunday, March 15, Annie Bailey’s and Tellus360 will host the Second Annual King Street Seisiún from 11 AM to 7 PM. The Seisiún (the Irish word meaning “session”) is an Irish block party celebrating the upcoming St. Patrick’s Day. The event will take over the zero block of East King Street and include a 21+ ticketed area stretching from Penn Square to North Duke Street. The block party will raise money to benefit local nonprofits like the Junior League of Lancaster, the Lancaster Office of Promotion, Music For Everyone, Lancaster City Alliance and more. The event will feature live entertainment from Ogham Stones, Fire in the Glen, and the Kilmaine Saints, as well as dance performances from the Hooley School of Irish Dance. Special food and drink tokens must be purchased in order to enjoy authentic Irish food from Annie Bailey’s and Tellu360, as well as some good old fashioned Irish alcohol (Guinness, Magner’s, Harp, and Smithwick’s). Tickets for the King Street Seisiún are $15 per person, and can be purchased on Tellus360’s website. Get yours soon – last year sold out!
